Baseball Fun

Okay...I had so much fun doing the 6 month video I thought I would put one together for our pictures from the baseball game. We had box seats which were so cool...and they actually won! They were down 7 to 3 in the 9th and came back to win it 8 to 7. It was a blast. There was a couple sitting right behind us with Boston hats on... so we had fun rallying back and forth with our NY hats. Enjoy the video!

The Duck Pond

We went on a fun picnic dinner out by the UNM Duck Pond. I made Craig let me take some photos.

6 Months Old

I dressed Caleb up and wanted to take some great photos of him looking sharp for his 6 month birthday. Unfortunately, he didn't want to really cooperate and look at the camera...and when he did ..smiling wasn't in the cards. I did manage to get a few cute pictures. I decided to try out the cool features of my new and spiffy computer and made them into movie for you to see. Hopefully you enjoy! Let me know your feedback on the video--- what do you want more of ??? Just be warned.. it lasts about 3 minutes!

Grass ---Hmmmm!

I took Caleb to sit in the grass...well mostly in his Bumbo while I was working with photographing a model for Kate's Camisoles.... but I digress... anyhow - I think I took more pictures of Caleb than I did of the model. He was so curious and cute with the whole grass thing.

Here's a short video too...just cause he's so darn cute!

Dog Days of Summer

We can really say this... we spend lots of time playing with our puppy! He loves to be chased. Just watch!

The Adventures of Baby Foods

I always used to laugh when I saw pictures of children messier than ever...and always wondered why the parents didn't feed their children more carefully. I mean it should be easy enough to put a spoon in the mouth of a child without it getting everywhere... RIGHT????

Caleb loves fruit.... bananas, applesauce, peaches.... the vegetables take a little more coaxing. Green beans have yet to be successful. He does like sweet potatoes and squash. The garden veggies are a little more difficult.

This is Caleb with his bananas. He loves them so much he wears them proudly. Any spot that appears shiny...yep that's banana. And yes I'm one of those parents that can't seem to get it in the mouth without disaster. These are after i've wiped him up at least twice!

Question Answered

So depending on who is holding Caleb... we get he looks the most like the one holding him. So- thank you Nicole...we stole this from you!

MyHeritage: Look-alike Meter - Family history - Familytree

So I guess it's official...his cuteness is because of Mommy!

Fun Camping

Our ward camp out was this weekend. We were so excited. We bought a new tent and headed up the mountain regardless of the weather forecast. Just as we got everything set up... craig went ahead and sprayed down the tent with some water proofing stuff...(thunder rolling in the background). We quickly made some dinner.
Afterwards the rain came in... and rained hard for a good 30 minutes. We rested in the tent with our camping pots catching the rain on the inside where the water-proofing didn't quite work.

Caleb had a great time though. After the rains... we went to sit by the fire. He was mesmorized.

Caleb did really well the whole night. Other than getting up every hour to eat! We had a great time. Here are a bunch of pictures. (Heidi- doesn't he look like timbo in some of these?)

[As a side note.... i'm going to be entering Caleb into a cute baby contest... so in the next day or two check back to help me pick the best photos to send in]

My First Steps...

I can't believe how fast Caleb is growing up. Our fears have already been realized...this kid is walking before he can even crawl.. see for yourself!

Okay...so he has a little help from his walker...but he is certainly getting to be quite independent.

Babysitting

This is Craig's idea of babysitting - sit him in front of a movie... only scary part is he's sitting on the desk - where's Craig????

Just a Happy Boy!

This kid should be the Gerber Baby!

Caleb is growing up so fast - he is so cute. I swear I'm going to turn him into Gerber.

This is the hat Grandma brought back from their trip.

Isn't he so cute? These are before church today. Craig hates the hat - but he is just so darn cute! Of Course... I'm biased.

First Bike Ride

Caleb loves his walks so much that we thought he'd really enjoy bike riding so we went and bought a new bike trailer. Craig became the official puller. I tried to take sherman with me...but he doesn't run well since he is so small and he wants to run on the sidewalk while I am in the road...makes it difficult to work well when all sorts of signs and trees get in the way. Caleb enjoyed it.

Puppy Love

I have to say - Sherman has been really quite a good dog. He is incredibly patient with Caleb. He doesn't bite or try to hurt him in any way. He's always happy to see him and loves to cuddle up with him for naps. Caleb loves to play with his puppy too. He especially loves to grab at his collar. They make noise. Caleb loves to grab at his fur too... smacks him around a bit as well since he doesn't have complete control over his reflexes.

Water Park Days!

So the monsoons have come early here in New Mexico...hot in the morning to early afternoon ... then down pour. But we thought we'd take advantage of the hot and go to the water park. Not much for Caleb to do just yet... but mommy had fun getting soaked!

Look What I Can Do!

Caleb is growing ever so fast. I can't believe he's already 5 months. He loves to play. He's recently starting talking in more distinctive sounds. It's so fun.

Here he is grabbing his feet.

He is so cute... look at him thinking ... well more like trying to put his entire hand in his mouth.

Here's my sports enthusiast... Don't bother me... I'm watching baseball!

Potty Training - ALREADY!!!

So mom and dad decided it was time for new dogs since the passing of Shadow and Sandy. They were so excited...and if you've seen their blog you know how much they love these puppies. They were so excited to get them that they drove all the way to Phoenix to pick them up and bring them back -- only to turn around two weeks later to leave them with me!

My evil plan was to spoil them rotten - have them sleep in
the bed, etc....but my husband wouldn't let me. But we did all the potty training while they where gone. We even bathed them. I think Craig had way to much fun with the bathing though.

It was so incredibly funny. The next day when we picked up the hose to water something the dogs went running into the house faster than you know.... Sherman of course leading the way!

They are sure tiny when they are wet!
